The Duck Drop is one of Mackenzie’s longest‑standing and most beloved community fundraisers. Each year, residents gather for family‑friendly activities, a community BBQ, and our signature raffle event in which a helicopter releases rubber ducks into Morfee Lake and a trained dog retrieves the winning duck. Funds raised support trail maintenance, new recreation initiatives, community health programming, and the ongoing development of outdoor tourism opportunities.
